📋 Description

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex frontend and backend features • Build scalable applications using TypeScript across client and server • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Node.js server-side applications • Build responsive user interfaces using Svelte/SvelteKit or comparable technologies • Design and maintain relational database schemas, migrations, and performance-focused queries • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and client stakeholders • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design decisions, and engineering standards • Develop automated tests and contribute to code quality and testing strategies • Build and maintain CI/CD workflows and use Docker for consistent environments • Deploy and operate production applications using AWS cloud services and serverless architectures • Research technologies and methodologies to improve engineering productivity and product quality • Use AI-assisted development tools for planning, coding, testing, and debugging • Collaborate directly with clients through meetings, technical discussions, and product demonstrations • Participate in daily standups and bi-weekly sprint cycles

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience • Expert-level proficiency with TypeScript, including advanced language features and complex type definitions • Strong experience with server-side TypeScript and Node.js, including RESTful APIs • Strong experience with Svelte, SvelteKit, React, Next.js, or similar modern frontend frameworks • Experience with relational databases and SQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization • Strong understanding of software testing, code quality, and maintainable development practices • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based development workflows • Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and cloud-based applications • Experience contributing to architecture and technical design decisions • Strong communication and collaboration skills for direct client work • Ability to work effectively and independently in a small, collaborative engineering team • Practical experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar • Ability to articulate AI tool capabilities and limitations, including accuracy, security, reliability, and responsible use • Reliable internet connection and laptop • Must be currently based in Latin America
