• Carries out required tasks to promote optimal service performance and assists the Human Resources team with all administrative duties such as hiring (ensuring employee file compliance, drafting offer letters, organizing arrival logistics, etc.). • Monitors the logistics of employee departure files (memos, relocations, coding, etc.). • Places orders for supplies and equipment in accordance with contractual management rules. • Generates HR data reports. • Prepares, formats and translates various documents. • Provides administrative support to the Labour Relations team (management of union releases and filing of grievances). • Handles various employee requests such as certificates and maritime/air transport of vehicles. • Maintains and updates various lists and documents and performs employee file coding in Logibec. • Covers colleagues during their vacations and performs other related duties.
• Must hold a College Diploma (DEC) in General Administration, Office Technology, or another relevant college-level field from an institution recognized by the competent ministry; or a DEC combined with a relevant undergraduate certificate; or a relevant Attestation of College Studies (AEC) of 800 hours or more combined with relevant experience in the field. • Relevant experience within the health and social services network in a similar position or related field, and knowledge of collective agreements, compensation and benefits. • Bilingualism required: French and English (spoken and written); Inuktitut is an asset. • Experience in remote regions and knowledge of Inuit culture are assets. • Sense of responsibility and autonomy; strong analytical and synthesis skills; attention to detail and respect for confidentiality. • High ability to work within a virtual team, customer-service orientation, and ability to build harmonious interpersonal relationships; capacity to work under pressure. • Strong communication skills and advanced proficiency with IT tools. • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. • Knowledge of Logibec’s Espresso HR-payroll system is an asset. • Available to travel to Kuujjuaq 2 to 4 times per year for periods of 2 to 4 weeks.
• Cost-of-living allowance: $74.17 • Remoteness allowance: $233.38 • Retention allowance: $139.13
