📋 Description

• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, including labor, materials, equipment, and services • Perform comprehensive cost analysis and forecasting to ensure projects stay within budget • Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies • Prepare and present detailed cost reports and progress updates to project managers and stakeholders • Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and contract management to ensure cost control and planning advice • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in project design and execution • Engage and manage third-party quantity surveyors and validate construction cost estimates • Update and maintain a repository for historical cost data to inform future projects • Define and track cost performance metrics, leading monthly cost reporting and analysis

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in cost engineering, with a focus on data center construction • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field • Advanced degree preferred • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in cost estimation software, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a solid understanding of financial forecasting and cost accounting principles • Strong presentation skills and ability to thrive in a client-facing role • Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be a team player
