📋 Description
• Perform VIRTUAL-only Reading/English tutoring for K-12 students across the United States with flexible hours and higher pay than most tutoring companies. • Use knowledge to close the opportunity gap and advance equity in education by supporting high needs students.
🎯 Requirements
• At least one year of Math and/or ELA lead teaching experience in a U.S., K-12, public, private, and/or charter school. • Ability to instruct ACT/SAT English/Reading • Daytime availability (e.g., 8am-10am, 12pm-3pm Eastern) • Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom • Bonus points for: Experience with remediation, intervention or small group instruction, Experience with secondary math, SPED or ELL teaching experience, Bi-Lingual, AP course experience (any APs) helpful!, Dedication to advancing equity in schools, Active teaching credential
🏖️ Benefits
• Staffing and Engagements • Compensation rate generally $32.00 per hour of tutoring plus a 10% bonus • Rate may be modified for engagements where teachers are provided more or less lessons
