📋 Description

• Account for transactions in the books and prepare GL reconciliations, including bank reconciliation • Record and reconcile intercompany transactions • Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures • Prepare year-end financial statements according to Ind AS • Participate in and manage internal and external audit procedures • Prepare monthly and quarterly flux reports and explain variances • Lead resolution of accounting issues and guide cross-functional teams on accounting impacts • Continuously develop existing processes, especially within the ERP system and closing process • Ensure global accounting policies, procedures, and internal processes are implemented and followed • Support quarter/year-end audit activities and regulatory filings and returns

🎯 Requirements

• CA, CPA, or ACCA equivalent • 3 to 4 years’ experience in a Record to Report / GL function, preferably at an MNC company • Hands-on experience with month-end close processes and operational accounting • Working knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP • Experience with TDS/withholding tax, GST, Companies Act, and other regulatory filings • Ability to prioritize and work proactively and independently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail • Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle or SAP • Advanced Excel skills • Good communication and presentation skills • Big4 audit/accounting experience preferred • Knowledge of latest AI tools and Power Query • Knowledge of accounting and compliance for APAC countries apart from India
