• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor • Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize account value and drive revenue growth • Conduct regular strategic account reviews and develop comprehensive plans tailored to each client's unique needs and objectives • Monitor and analyze account performance metrics, KPIs, and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization • Negotiate contracts professionally and transparently while resolving disputes or issues with empathy and assertiveness • Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and market developments to provide clients with valuable, actionable insights • Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators through consistent effort and strategic account management • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and account information in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction • Prepare and present regular account reports and performance summaries to stakeholders and management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in account management, sales, or a similar client-facing role • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and client retention goals • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of an organization • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms) and project management tools • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions • Self-motivated, results-driven work approach with strong time management skills • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-oriented environment • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in account management and customer relationship management • Experience in the New York market or familiarity with the regional business landscape (preferred) • Advanced proficiency in multiple CRM platforms or business intelligence tools (preferred) • Experience in strategic account planning and consultative selling methodologies (preferred) • Certification in account management, sales, or related professional development programs (preferred) • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
