📋 Description

• Primary point of contact for the Director of Nursing on matters concerning the nursing area of responsibility • Support the Director of Nursing on overarching issues and tasks • Disciplinary and professional supervisor for all nursing staff assigned to the general ward setting • Operational management of nursing services within the area of responsibility • Coordinate staff deployment and ensure the organization of duty rosters and vacation planning • Ensure smooth nursing operations and conduct employee meetings and performance appraisals • Point of contact for clinic directors on matters related to the area of responsibility • Drive overarching optimization of nursing collaboration and nursing processes, including concept development • Maintain continuous dialogue with the responsible staff units of the Director of Nursing to improve quality and efficiency • Actively contribute to the strategic direction and ongoing development of the university medical center • Regular exchange with the Nursing Directorate leadership, medical leadership, and contacts from the Commercial/Administrative Directorate

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Health Management or a related field • Several years of leadership experience in nursing and/or clinical services; experience in center management is an advantage • Knowledge and experience in project management and personnel controlling for the clinical setting • Enjoy working with staff, with a flair for innovation, creativity, and process-oriented thinking and action • Clear and direct communication skills and strong assertiveness • Ability to collaborate cooperatively and constructively within a team • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Independent, results-oriented working style and excellent organizational skills
