• Utila is a cutting-edge technology startup transforming how financial institutions secure and control crypto assets across multiple blockchains, wallets, teams, and users in one place. • The Sales Director will be responsible for continued expansion in North America by driving new customer acquisition. • This role requires a deep understanding of the crypto market and strong sales skills to build relationships with key decision-makers.
• 5 to 7+ years of overachievement in an institutional sales role, with a strong focus on crypto and web3, payments, and/or financial services. • A hunter mentality – Actively go after leads, research targets, and find connection ways. • Ability to work independently and manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing. • Ability to travel at least 25% of the time. • A deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem in the United States and market shaping for emerging use cases in financial services and payments. • Experience with complex, technology-based solutions. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders. • Team-oriented mindset, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally effectively. • Strong pre-existing network within the crypto, payments, and financial institution verticals in the region. • Experience in a high-growth startup environment. • Familiarity with crypto wallet & custody solutions. • Fluent in Spanish.
