📋 Description

• Lead the assessment from a technical perspective • Ensure the consistency of the diagnosis and serve as Valtech’s technical voice in sessions with the client’s IT leadership • Lead the technical kickoff, aligning scope, assumptions, and success criteria • Define the assessment plan for each dimension and the interview guide • Specify the required access, data extracts, and artifacts, including deadlines • Conduct interviews with IT leadership, architecture teams, and vendors • Direct the work of the Data Engineer and Data Analyst, validating depth and priorities • Assess architecture, layers, orchestration, environments, modeling standards, and costs • Consolidate the triangulation of stated, observed, and documented information • Assign and justify maturity scores across the eight dimensions • Identify root causes, distinguishing symptoms from structural problems • Map the as-is state and design the conceptual reference architecture • Present the interim readout and final executive readout

🎯 Requirements

• Availability to work in a temporary position lasting one month, with a workload of 10 hours per week • Proven experience with modern data architecture, including lakehouses, medallion layers or equivalent, orchestration, dimensional modeling, and historization • Hands-on experience with Databricks in a production environment • Strong command of data governance, including ownership, cataloging, lineage, access management, and change management • Previous experience conducting assessments, due diligence engagements, or maturity diagnostics, including the production of executive-level deliverables • Ability to sustain technical discussions with IT executives and translate architecture into business implications • Knowledge of LGPD as applied to data architecture
