📋 Description

• Scope, manage, and execute M&A Advisory and/or Finance and Accounting Advisory engagements with limited guidance from Directors and above • Provide oversight and guidance to junior staff to ensure quality execution and deliverables • Assist with execution of the Vector Advisory Objectives and Key Results (as directed by Management) to help achieve overall growth and strategic initiatives • Lead teams serving clients across industries while demonstrating advisory capabilities and executive presence with C-level client personnel • Contribute to working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deliverables • Lead the planning of engagements, ensuring budgets and work plans are established to meet client engagement objectives • Oversee, supervise, and develop assigned staff, as applicable to engagements • Prepare financial models and/or demonstrate strengths with intermediate to advanced skills within Excel and other financial modeling tools • Manage and execute work to meet engagement requirements and ensure quality delivery standards are met and the client expectations are managed, met, or exceeded • Learn through research, experience, and leverage of team members and apply learnings consistently

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or business; MBA preferred • Relevant certification; CPA, CIA, CRCM preferred • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, such as financial management consulting or combination of corporate finance/accounting, corporate M&A, and consulting roles • Prior experience in Big 4 or other large consultancies preferred • Experience in an M&A-centric role, preferably in the area of Private Equity or Corporate Development • Strong project management methodology background, including schedule, scope, issue, and risk management experience, people change management, and strategic planning and analysis • Ability to produce or understand 3-statement financial models with minimal guidance • Superior analytical, quantitative and qualitative assessment, and problem-solving skills with ability to identify creative solutions to challenging problems • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with C-level executives at clients • Demonstrated ability in communicating effectively, both verbally and written • Ability to work independently and coordinate work with others in a team environment • Ability to collaborate with leadership and team members • Ability to lead and manage projects, client engagements, and team members • Well organized and detail-oriented to handle diverse and concurrent assignments/client matters • Exceptional time management skills • Strong Microsoft application knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook) and aptitude for grasping and using various software applications • Willingness and ability to travel • Self-motivated, accountable, humble, enthusiastic, and a great sense of humor!
