📋 Description

• Assess the needs of agile teams and hire and onboard new team members as required within predefined budgets. • Motivate the team to deliver their best work in a healthy sustainable environment. • Manage 6 to 12 software engineers, including conducting performance reviews and coaching and mentoring engineers. • Drive delivery of high-quality software in a regulated environment according to quarterly plans. • Protect teams from disturbance and disruption while prioritizing critical issues. • Support quarterly planning and facilitate discussions between Engineering, Product, and Business. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product and Customer Operations. • Build a deep understanding of Velsera’s product offering from business, customer, and product perspectives. • Report development, quality, operations, and system performance status to management using predefined metrics. • Ensure agile software development methodologies are implemented and processes are efficient and effective. • Suggest cross-team process improvements when applicable.

🎯 Requirements

• +5 years in the field of software engineering. • Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of software engineers. • The ability to clearly communicate and collaborate well with both technical and non-technical partners. • A problem-solver attitude as a servant leader for agile engineering teams, providing solutions to unblock both people and processes. • A strong technical background in software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in the software development industry. • Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle management processes. • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills, a track record of actively driving processes to deliver quality outcomes. • Good presentation, oral, and written communication skills. • Experience in developing software in a regulated environment is a plus.
