📋 Description

• Serve as subject matter authority on Verkada’s full product suite and articulate value to customers • Act as a trusted advisor, overcome objections, and secure technical wins • Build the South Europe region and enable local partners • Present Verkada solutions to customer stakeholders from C-level executives to IT directors • Develop territory strategy with Account Executives and the Head of South Europe • Design network security, physical security, cloud security, LTE, and deployment solutions • Interface directly with customers and partners throughout the sales process • Assist customers with deployment design, local compliance, and technical support • Stay current on the security and IoT industry through conferences and market thought leadership • Train and educate partners, customers, and internal employees on Verkada products • Write white papers and knowledge base articles • Travel domestically and internationally more than 50% of the time

🎯 Requirements

• Being based in Milano (or ready to relocate) • Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish are a must; any additional language will be ideal • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with a proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companies • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, or IT Security from an accredited university • Strong background in Networking: Experience with HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, Firewalls and software systems • Outstanding written and verbal English, Italian and Spanish communication skills • Industry certifications (ideally): AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft Azure, CISSP, CSP • Experience working with APIs, Python, and other coding languages is a plus • Experience working with Linux systems is ideal, not a requirement • Previous startup experience is ideal, not a requirement • Comfortable with regular travel of more than 50% of the time
