📋 Description

• Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of fire protection systems while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. • Develop comprehensive fire protection system designs, including sprinklers, alarms, and suppression systems. • Create and review detailed engineering plans, schematics, and blueprints. • Utilize advanced engineering software and tools to simulate fire scenarios and assess system performance. • Maintain accurate records of all fire protection activities and system installations. • Lead complex projects and manage key accounts for the company. • Provide technical oversight and education to junior engineers; mentor and develop team members. • Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, local regulations, and industry standards. • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. • Develop and implement emergency response plans and evacuation procedures. • Perform regular inspections and testing of fire protection systems. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. • Establish and enforce safety protocols for project implementation. • Create comprehensive technical documentation and maintenance manuals. • Implement quality control measures for all fire protection installations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering (master’s degree in fire protection engineering or short course equivalent education of primary competencies of the field also mentioned). • 5-15 years' experience in fire protection engineering or a related field. • PE License in at least one US State or territory. • Extensive experience in managing multiple teams and departments. • Knowledge of regulatory and industry trends in fire protection engineering. • Proficiency in financial management and budgeting. • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency with advanced engineering software and tools to simulate fire scenarios. • Knowledge of NFPA codes, local regulations, and industry standards.
