📋 Description

• Manage the full accounting cycle for roofing and construction operations, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting • Apply job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) principles to track project profitability across multiple active jobs • Support percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing across residential, commercial, and federal projects • Make sound financial judgments while maintaining accuracy and compliance • Integrate and optimize external applications with QuickBooks Online • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor/client interactions • Support compliance requirements for federally funded projects, including certified payroll and prevailing wage documentation • Use QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, and Google Drive daily • Stay current on emerging technologies and AI applications that can improve accounting efficiency • Deliver financial insights that support leadership decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies • CPA certification preferred • Proven success managing external stakeholders • Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting practices • Ability to manage multiple active projects and changing priorities • Experience making informed financial judgments in fast-paced, growing businesses • Familiarity with federal or government-funded project accounting is a strong plus, not required • Essential proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive • Experience integrating external applications with QuickBooks Online • Bill.com, ClickUp, Gusto, and Ramp highly desirable • Familiarity with construction-specific job costing or project management software such as JobNimbus or AccuLynx is a bonus • Awareness of AI use cases in accounting is a plus • Full professional fluency in English, written and verbal • Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance professionals • Strong communication and collaboration skills across digital channels • Proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and independent problem-solving skills • High sense of ownership, openness to feedback, and adaptability • Integrity, curiosity, and a strong bias toward action • Must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe
