📋 Description
• This is a remote position. Federal Business Development Apprenticeship • Location : Remote • This apprenticeship is open to all interested individuals. • OST’s Government Business Development Apprenticeship program is a comprehensive one-year training program in the entire federal Government business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification and qualification, pipeline management, capture, and proposal development. • The apprenticeship combines 160 hours of job-related instruction to obtain national skills standards and on-the-job training provided by the apprentice employer. • Participants must pass skills tests at each segment of the program. • Employers use this Government-certified program to prepare their future workforce with essential BD skills for Government contracting. • The program consists of 12 parts that include various courses. • What you will learn in the first two months: • The initial Stages of Business Development • A Deep Dive Into the Capture Process • How to Write & Manage Winning Proposals • How to Grow Your Business Development Department • What you will learn in the remaining 10 months - Overview (a combination of classroom, workshops, and OJL supplements): • Foundations of Federal Business Development • Foundations of Capture Management • Proposal Theme Statements and Win Strategy • Foundations of Proposal Management • How to Develop a Compliant Proposal • Writing Persuasive Government Proposals • Winning Government Cost Proposals • Proposal Editing Workshop • Proposal Graphics • Conceptualization and Design • Desktop Publishing for Proposal Professionals • Veterans may be eligible for funding for the program under any of the following programs: • Chapter 30: Montgomery GI Bill • Chapter 33: Post 9/11 GI Bill • Chapter 35: Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance • Chapter 1606: Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve Program • Apply here and we will send you all information about how to enroll, cost, and benefits of a VA-Funded Apprenticeship.
