📋 Description

• Pursue new business development opportunities from capture decision to contract award. • Identify and qualify federal contract opportunities through market research, networking, and capture planning. • Build and maintain relationships with government clients, industry partners, and internal business units. • Develop and execute tailored capture plans, including win themes, competitive analysis, and teaming approaches. • Lead the capture process by coordinating cross-functional teams (technical, business development, proposal, legal) to shape solutions and proposals. • Track procurement schedules, monitor the competitive landscape, and provide regular updates to executive leadership on risks and progress. • Support proposal development by contributing to technical solutions, management volumes, past performance documentation, and pricing strategies. • Actively engage with VA vendor ecosystems and other marketplaces to identify teaming partners and support project execution. • Articulate the value proposition of VetsEZ services and solutions verbally and in writing to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information technology and Federal Government contracting. • 3+ years of capture management experience within the VA or other federal agencies. • Proven expertise in full-lifecycle capture management, including win strategy development, competitive analysis, and teaming approaches. • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders. • Understanding of the Federal Acquisition process, particularly small business contracting methods, contract vehicles, and the lifecycle of acquisitions. • Ability to meet or exceed annual sales goals, with hands-on contributions to technical solutioning during proposal efforts. • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. • Ability to obtain a government clearance.
