📋 Description

• Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures, applying patterns and best practices from the AWS Well-Architected Framework • Evaluate architectural trade-offs considering cost, performance, security, reliability and operational excellence • Create and maintain architecture diagrams (C4, AWS Architecture Icons) and detailed technical documentation • Conduct design reviews and architectural analyses with development teams • Perform assessments, inventories and technical due diligence of acquired companies' infrastructure • Execute strategic projects involving account provisioning, networking and edge load balancing • Define reusable standards and frameworks with a Platform Engineering mindset • Implement and evolve cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, resilience, security and cost optimization • Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting • Plan and monitor service capacity and performance • Implement and maintain observability solutions (logs, metrics and traces) • Collaborate with development, product and architecture teams as a technical reference for cloud solutions • Develop and deliver code following internal quality and maintainability standards • Participate in critical incident assessment and resolution and in root cause analyses • Promote Cloud Engineering best practices • Evaluate new AWS technologies and services and propose adoption

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience designing and implementing cloud architectures on AWS • Deep knowledge of AWS services: Compute, Storage, Database, Networking and Security • Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its pillars • Experience with high-availability, multi-AZ and multi-region architectures • Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures: AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS and Step Functions • Experience with Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK, Terraform and CloudFormation • Experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (ECS and Kubernetes) • Solid understanding of networking and connectivity: VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, security groups and NACLs • Experience with S3, EBS, EFS and FSx and backup/DR strategies • Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu), shell scripting, Bash and Python • Experience with CI/CD: CodePipeline, GitHub Actions and Jenkins • Familiarity with API development and microservices architectures • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic and CloudWatch • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams • Nice-to-haves: experience in fintechs or regulated environments (PCI-DSS, LGPD), programming languages Python/Go/Java/Node.js, AWS certifications, Platform Engineering, CQRS/Event Sourcing patterns, RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB/Redis databases, draw.io/Lucidchart/C4 Model, FinOps, Git/GitHub/GitFlow, Chaos Engineering and resilience testing • Working hours: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday • Employment: CLT (Brazilian formal employment contract)
