• Provide individual teletherapy sessions in students’ preferred language when possible (Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, French, etc.). • Use culturally responsive, short-term interventions to support students experiencing emotional, behavioral, or academic-related stress. • Address issues such as trauma, anxiety, adjustment, grief, bullying, identity, or family challenges. • Ensure language equity in service delivery by using interpreters or translated materials when direct language matching is unavailable. • Collaborate with school counselors, family resource managers, and administrators to support students with limited English proficiency. • Participate in multilingual family outreach, offering psychoeducation and support in a culturally sensitive manner. • Document all services in the EHR system, ensuring clarity for both English- and non-English-speaking caregivers and partners.
• Licensure: License-eligible in Virginia as LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent. • Residents must be approved for supervision toward licensure. • Fluency in Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, French, Mandarin, or other in-demand languages strongly preferred. • Minimum of 1 year providing clinical support to children and adolescents, preferably in school or telehealth settings. • Experience working with immigrant, refugee, or English learner populations is strongly preferred. • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally grounded practices. • Ability to deliver therapeutic services in both English and at least one additional language. • Strong documentation and remote work proficiency. • Deep cultural sensitivity, humility, and commitment to equity in care access.
