📋 Description

• Remote opportunity - preferred candidate locations include Milwaukee, Nashville, and Dallas • Lead and support transactional and operational legal matters • Provide practical and risk-balanced legal advice across various domains including contracts, acquisitions, target integration, corporate governance, employment law, intellectual property, limited securities law, insurance, and litigation • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents • Conduct legal research and utilize AI tools effectively • Manage legal initiatives and ensure compliant records • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing work environment

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance — beneficial but not required • 8–10 years of experience encompassing contract, employment, intellectual property, and transactional law • Prior in-house counsel and/or private practice experience are beneficial but not required • Healthcare industry experience beneficial but not required • Experience with acquisitions and corporate governance is preferred • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, in good standing • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal technology tools, including AI-assisted platforms • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
