Since 2006 its veteran team has delivered hundreds of CGI, animation, VFX, concept art, matte painting, storyboard, and key art projects for major entertainment companies worldwide. The studio produces marketing materials and visual development assets for film, TV and related entertainment customers, working as a service provider to other businesses.

📋 Description

• Own Volta's electrical design standards and reference architectures across the fleet • Review and approve project-level electrical design deliverables against fleet standards • Lead technical decisions on utility interconnection, switchgear, distribution and backup power strategy • Partner with the Precon / FEP function to shape electrical scope and strategy during front-end planning • Coordinate with equipment vendors on electrical equipment selection, lead times and standardisation • Support commissioning and the DSX team with electrical design input for turn-up readiness • Manage electrical design consultants and review their deliverables for quality and consistency • Feed lessons learned from live projects back into fleet-wide reference designs • Ensure electrical designs meet applicable codes and utility requirements across jurisdictions

🎯 Requirements

• Significant electrical design experience on data centre or mission-critical facility projects is essential • Deep technical knowledge of medium- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, and backup power systems • Experience setting or working within standardised design programmes across multiple projects • A track record managing design consultants and reviewing engineering deliverables • Strong understanding of how electrical design decisions affect cost, schedule and constructability • Chartered engineer status or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage • Willingness to travel across the fleet as needed
