📋 Description

• Design distributed, stateless, scalable, and failure-resilient systems aligned with long-term strategy • Contribute hands-on to the codebase by prototyping, implementing, and reviewing critical features • Use asynchronous architectures and message-driven patterns to improve latency, responsiveness, and service decoupling • Define and implement data consistency, message ordering, and reliable state-transition patterns • Mentor engineers across teams and raise engineering capabilities • Promote testing, observability, continuous integration, and secure software development practices • Reduce technical debt and drive modernization strategies • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Product, Data, Tech, and Infrastructure teams to shape roadmaps and architecture

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing and delivering robust, distributed, mission-critical production systems • Expertise in asynchronous processing and message-driven systems using Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ, or pub/sub • Deep technical fluency in system design, performance tuning, concurrency, and consistency models • Strong coding skills in one or more modern languages such as Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript • Familiarity with service-oriented and event-driven architectures, eventual consistency, and data synchronization • Mastery of CI/CD, test automation strategies, and infrastructure-as-code tooling • Hands-on secure coding experience and awareness of compliance and resilience in regulated or complex environments • Experience with metrics, logs, traces, incident handling, and root cause analysis • Fluent in English and French • Ability to lead technical direction across multiple teams without positional authority • Experience mentoring Senior Engineers and guiding org-level architectural decisions
