📋 Description

• Monitor and analyze major macroeconomic developments across the U.S., India, Europe, China, and other major markets • Analyze inflation and inflation expectations, central-bank policy, interest-rate cycles, yields, yield curves, fiscal deficits, sovereign debt, global liquidity, credit spreads, financial conditions, currencies, commodities, capital flows, and structural economic and technological trends • Translate macroeconomic developments into clear, evidence-based research conclusions • Connect macroeconomic factors to equity valuations, earnings expectations, sector performance, risk premiums, capital allocation, corporate financing conditions, and investment cycles • Move analysis from macro to markets to sectors to companies • Support company-level public-equity research within macro and thematic frameworks • Analyze business models, competitive positioning, revenue and margin durability, capital allocation, balance-sheet strength, valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity to macroeconomic regimes • Contribute to long-form macro research papers, thematic research notes, company and sector analyses, weekly research publications, and Calisade Digest • Defend reasoning, respond to challenges, revise work, and improve analytical frameworks over time • Produce research that is clear, defensible, macro-aware, independent, useful, and consistent

🎯 Requirements

• Must meet at least one credential requirement: CFA Level II passed or above, CFA Level III candidate, CFA charterholder, or MBA from a recognized institution with a strong focus in Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline • Strong macroeconomic and capital-markets fundamentals • Demonstrated interest or experience in global macroeconomics, monetary policy, inflation and real rates, fixed income and duration, fiscal policy and sovereign debt, liquidity and credit cycles, global capital flows, cross-asset relationships, or macro-driven equity research • Strong understanding of the relationship between inflation, interest rates, liquidity, credit, valuations, capital flows, and equity/sector outcomes • Excellent written English • Analytical precision and strong macroeconomic intuition • Structured thinking and evidence-based reasoning • Intellectual curiosity and ability to synthesize complex information • Comfort challenging consensus • Willingness to defend and revise an argument • Consistent and reliable execution • Public-equity analysis experience is valuable but not required • Preferred academic backgrounds include Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, quantitative disciplines, or related analytical fields
