📋 Description

• Own SMB acquisition funnel services end to end • Design, deploy, and maintain high-throughput backend applications in Kotlin and Go • Drive event-driven architecture and asynchronous messaging with Kafka • Ensure data consistency, idempotency, and resilience across services • Harden and scale integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot, and Segment • Establish observability and reliability practices across owned services • Define SLOs and alerts using Datadog and OpenTelemetry • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to translate business goals into technical solutions • Collaborate across engineering teams to evolve architecture • Conduct code reviews and mentor peers • Use AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate feature delivery, test coverage, and documentation • Promote wellbeing and a supportive team environment

🎯 Requirements

• Prior backend software engineering experience with Kotlin, Go, or Java is mandatory • Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory • Fluency in Portuguese for daily squad interactions • Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in production • Solid production experience in Kotlin and Go, or extensive modern Java experience with willingness to work primarily with Kotlin and Go • Experience with event-driven systems and asynchronous processing • Practical knowledge of Kafka or equivalent message brokers • Experience designing resilient APIs • Practical experience managing containerized microservices on AWS and Kubernetes • Experience with data modeling and database management • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and DynamoDB • Experience using AI coding assistants and modern development tools • Must be based in Brazil
