📋 Description

• Translate patents from Simplified Chinese into Japanese in the field of Electricity • Translate and proofread patent documents in Electricity and Chemistry • Handle an expected weighted volume of 2,000–5,000 words per week • Use XTM CAT tool • Join Welocalize’s pool of external partners if approved • Make professional details available to global Production teams

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the translation and/or editing of patent documents, specifically Electricity and Chemistry patents • Proficiency use of CAT tools, especially with XTM • Multilingual profile • Attention to detail • Good availability and quick response times • Experience translating and proofreading patents • Ability to translate from Simplified Chinese into Japanese • Selected candidates must complete a Simplified Chinese into Japanese translation test
