📋 Description

• Validate the language-specific accessibility of localized web pages, applications, and documents • Confirm correct language codes in HTML and PDF metadata • Identify mixed-language content missing proper language declarations • Use native-language screen readers to review translated accessible text, including hidden elements, tooltips, error messages, alt text, and UI labels • Evaluate captions, transcripts, and audio descriptions for accuracy, synchronization, and natural language • Confirm multimedia controls are properly labeled in Dutch • Log findings with WCAG/PDF-UA references, screenshots or recordings, and severity classifications • Participate in review calls with the QA Lead as needed • Test and report issues rather than remediate or fix them

🎯 Requirements

• Native or near-native fluency in Dutch • Demonstrated hands-on experience testing digital content with assistive technology/AT • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.1 & 2.2 AA and EN 301 549 • Ability to evaluate content from a native-speaker accessibility perspective • Reliable access to relevant devices and operating systems appropriate to the target locale • Strong written communication skills in English for defect reporting and general communications (nice to have) • Experience with PDF accessibility testing using PAC 3 or Adobe Acrobat Pro Accessibility Checker (nice to have) • Familiarity with internationalization, localization, and translation workflows (nice to have) • Personal use of assistive technology (nice to have) • Relevant certifications such as CPACC, WAS, DHS Trusted Tester, or equivalent (requested if applicable) • Supply own device and assistive technology setup appropriate to the target locale
