📋 Description

• Localize, translate, and adapt multimedia, legal, technical, and marketing content according to style guides and guidelines • Write copy for multimedia products including music, TV, app store apps, video-on-demand, and game subscription services • Review own work and other localization team members’ work across content types • Copy-edit and fact-check content for accuracy • Perform Localization QA testing on content published to live platforms • Research market-specific content treatment, product and terminology trends, and localization best practices • Transcribe spoken content such as lyrics • Report on data and assets across media and content types • Review linguistic assessments and create training materials and documents for new projects • Train localization team counterparts on terminology, style, and best practices • Collaborate with global language teams through virtual meetings and email on content reviews, terminology, style, trends, market insights, and translations

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in journalism, copywriting, or copyediting media content such as music, TV, and applications, with proof of writing samples • Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content • Ability to quickly detect issues and inconsistencies in large volumes of content and make sound judgment calls based on available information • Broad knowledge of music artists, TV and cinema, gaming, and pop culture • Ability to own the language market and make confident linguistic decisions • Highly detail-oriented, with ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines • Fluency in written and verbal English • Strong computer literacy; knowledge of iOS/macOS systems is a plus • Ability to type in native-level language using a local English keyboard • Ability to work independently and remotely • Collaborative and comfortable working in a multicultural team environment
