📋 Description

• Contributing to long-term initiatives such as, but not limited to: Unlocking on-premises deployment of space algorithms with Kubernetes • Continuously improving the developer experience of your teammates (software and space) • Collaborating with space engineers and other software engineers to develop algorithms as services • Designing and developing core algorithms and infrastructure from early-stage prototypes to final deployment • Enhancing and extending the observability of our systems • Reviewing PRs and design documents, contributing to code via business-driven implementations and bug fixes, and reducing tech debt

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience • Extensive experience in software architecture and senior engineering roles • Experience in shipping products in a start-up environment, enabling rapid iteration while maintaining a reliable and secure platform • Strong judgement in balancing trade-offs between scalability, maintainability, and speed • Proven ability to improve and optimise technical workflows and team practices • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and infrastructure-as-code • Experience working closely with product and business teams in a B2B context • Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing • Proficiency in English, with fluency in both spoken and written communication being an absolute must • Experience in on-premise or hybrid deployments of services and their orchestration with Kubernetes
