📋 Description

• Collaborates with legal team and stakeholders to provide expert and strategic legal advice on a broad range of legal matters to management, key stakeholders, and executives • Oversees complex legal issues, including providing legal responses, evaluating costs, developing strategies, and overseeing the resolution of disputes • Drafts, reviews, and revises a variety of legal documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with applicable laws • Conducts internal and external investigations, as needed • Develops training material and educates employees on legal issues, company policies, and best practices • May represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation • Conducts legal research and stays updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company • Retains and manages outside counsel, while overseeing strategies, reviewing invoices, and managing deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, licensed to practice in at least one U.S. State • 7+ years post JD experience in a law firm or in-house setting • Experience working in a team-oriented environment managing and mentoring legal staff.
