• Submit dental insurance claims through electronic claims submission systems • Assist in transitioning the practice from manual to electronic claims processing • Manage accounts receivable (A/R) and follow up on outstanding insurance claims • Perform payment posting and reconcile insurance payments • Investigate and resolve outstanding billing and reimbursement issues • Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits • Navigate insurance portals and electronic claims submission systems • Coordinate and follow up on patient treatment plans • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, benefits, and reimbursement status • Answer inbound phone calls professionally • Make outbound calls to patients and insurance companies • Schedule and manage patient appointments • Manage and respond to emails • Maintain accurate patient records within Eaglesoft and other practice management systems • Provide general administrative support to improve office efficiency
• Previous experience in medical billing or dental billing is required • Dental billing experience is highly preferred; however, candidates with a strong medical billing background are encouraged to apply • Strong knowledge of claims submission, accounts receivable (A/R), insurance verification, and payment posting • Experience using insurance portals and electronic claims submission systems • Experience following up on denied, delayed, or outstanding insurance claims • Experience with Eaglesoft (preferred) • Candidates with experience using similar dental practice management software, such as Open Dental, are also encouraged to apply • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Reliable, dependable, and committed to a long-term role • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Professional verbal and written English communication skills • Comfortable communicating with patients and insurance companies via phone and email • Quick learner who can adapt to new software and workflows • Must speak and write English clearly and professionally. • Must have relevant work experience. • Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding (mandatory). • Must be available to attend video meetings with camera on when required.
