📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications • Build and enhance automation frameworks using Cypress • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous quality delivery • Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and sanity testing • Create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned with business requirements • Execute automated and manual test suites, analyze results, and drive quality delivery • Identify, document, track, and verify defects through to resolution using defect management tools • Collaborate with developers, business users, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure solution quality • Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirement reviews, test strategy discussions, and release validation • Report testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics clearly and in a timely manner • Contribute to improving test automation coverage and overall QA processes

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation and Functional Testing • Hands-on experience using Cypress • Good understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript for writing automation scripts • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and test lifecycle management • Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans • Good understanding of web application testing and end-to-end validation • Good knowledge of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools • Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills • Meticulous attention to detail and a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality solutions • Familiarity with performance, accessibility, or security testing practices • Exposure to cloud-based test environments or containerized testing setups (e.g. Docker) • ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus
