📋 Description
• Manage closing, controllership, audits, accounting, and financial reporting for the Turkey market • Prepare standalone and consolidated year-end financial statements under IFRS / Local GAAP • Collaborate with stakeholders, the local finance team, and auditors to complete financial statement audits • Coordinate with auditors, finance, and business teams to resolve audit queries • Ensure timely completion of statutory and tax audits • Manage accounting and reporting for various entities • Review monthly and quarterly P&L and balance sheet accounting and reporting • Prepare and submit balance sheet schedules • Prepare timely business reports with accurate variance explanations • Support timely filing of tax returns, indirect tax filings, transfer pricing reports, and segment P&L reports • Work on liquidation of legal entities • Participate in initiatives and projects focused on process improvement and automation • Monitor open payables and open item management • Manage stakeholders and develop effective working relationships with business teams
🎯 Requirements
• Chartered accountant • Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational company with global reporting responsibility • Experience in financial reporting, accounting, audits, book closing, and controllership reporting • Strong knowledge of IFRS / Local GAAP • Strong knowledge of Turkish GAAP and tax regulations • Working knowledge of SAP • Proficiency in MS Excel • Excellent communication skills • Turkish and English language skills
