📋 Description

• Integrate commercial imagery providers into the collection tool, including request protocols, data formats, and delivery paths • Implement requested changes to the map interface • Investigate and fix data-flow bottlenecks and technical faults in the live production environment • Work with planners and analysts to turn operational needs into concrete requirements • Maintain documentation covering status, known issues, collection metrics, and recommendations • Report on tool performance, including availability, job success rates, changes since the previous period, and recommended actions • Own and continuously improve the satellite imagery collection tool

🎯 Requirements

• A working understanding of space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and current satellite capabilities • Five years or more of multi-mission planning using orbit and sensor modelling • Hands-on experience building and running satellite collection tooling for national or multinational customers • Real proficiency with GIS and web mapping libraries • Experience with protocols used to integrate several commercial imagery providers into one collection capability • Excellent spoken and written English • Self-direction to work alone without supervision and work well inside a team • Strong research and analytical habits • Experience of defence or military intelligence processes is welcome but not required • Security clearance is referenced in the job title
