📋 Description

• Integrate commercial imagery providers into the collection tool, including request protocols, data formats and delivery paths • Gather and implement user-requested changes for the map interface • Investigate and fix data-flow bottlenecks and technical faults in a live production environment • Work with planners and analysts to translate operational needs into concrete requirements • Maintain current tool documentation covering status, known issues, collection metrics and recommendations • Report on tool performance, including availability, job success rates, changes since the previous period and recommended actions • Own and maintain a satellite imagery collection tool used to deliver commercial imagery to operational systems

🎯 Requirements

• Working understanding of space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, including current satellite capabilities • Five years or more of multi-mission planning using orbit and sensor modelling • Hands-on experience building and running satellite collection tooling for national or multinational customers • Real proficiency with GIS and web mapping libraries • Experience integrating several commercial imagery providers into one collection capability using their protocols • Excellent spoken and written English, demonstrated in recent work • Self-direction to work alone without supervision and ability to work effectively within a team • Strong research and analytical habits • Genuine appetite for problem solving • Experience of defence or military intelligence processes is welcome
