📋 Description

• Advise clients on cloud architectures, DevOps strategies, and platform concepts, with a focus on sustainable solutions • Design and support the development of cloud service management platforms and their integration into existing operating and governance models • Design target architectures for CI/CD, container, and infrastructure environments • Translate business requirements into viable technical concepts • Advise on the introduction of DevOps practices, platform engineering approaches, and self-service models—from strategy through operationalization • Develop architecture decision proposals, reference architectures, and governance concepts for monitoring, logging, and security in multicloud environments • Facilitate architecture workshops and presentations for executive stakeholders • Convince IT leaders and technical teams of the concepts developed • Provide technical leadership in complex consulting projects • Contribute to the strategic development of the cloud and DevOps consulting portfolio

🎯 Requirements

• Completed university degree, for example in computer science or business informatics, or an equivalent qualification combined with relevant professional experience • Several years of consulting experience as a cloud or DevOps architect, ideally in regulated industries • In-depth conceptual understanding of cloud service management and brokerage platforms, as well as experience integrating them into complex IT environments • Strong architectural knowledge of Kubernetes (OpenShift, Rancher), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), GitLab CI, AWS, Azure, GCP, and sovereign/private cloud (OpenStack) • Experience designing security architectures and identity concepts using OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML • Solid methodological expertise in architecture work, such as arc42, TOGAF, or comparable frameworks • Experience preparing architecture documentation and decision proposals • Programming knowledge in Python, Go, or Java • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German (C2) and English (at least B2) • Hands-on mentality, high self-motivation, and a service-oriented mindset • Team player with strong documentation skills and a commitment to actively sharing knowledge • Active engagement with trends and drivers in cloud, DevOps, and platform engineering • Certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), PRINCE2 Agile Foundation, or ITIL Practitioner are optional and may also be obtained through XAAS
