📋 Description

• Research and build lists of target merchants in China using LinkedIn, WeChat, industry events, databases and referrals. • Run outbound outreach in Mandarin and English across WeChat, LinkedIn, email and phone, personalizing each message to the prospect's business and payment needs. • Qualify inbound and outbound leads, understand merchants' payment setups, markets and pain points, and book meetings for the Business Development team. • Present Yuno's value proposition and handle first questions about its payment orchestration platform. • Maintain accurate records of activities, contacts and pipeline in CRM and sales tools. • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to research accounts, draft and translate outreach, summarize conversations and automate prospecting tasks. • Share market feedback, trends and competitor activity in China with the APAC team. • Hit weekly activity and monthly qualified meeting targets agreed with the manager.

🎯 Requirements

• Native or fully professional Mandarin and fluent English, written and spoken. • Based in mainland China (Shanghai preferred), with availability for around 20 hours per week and some overlap with APAC and Europe business hours. • Some experience (internship or first job, ideally 1+ year) in sales development, business development, customer service or a client facing role, or a strong interest in starting a career in B2B sales. • Comfort doing outbound outreach and starting conversations with people you have never met, by message, phone or video. • Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar) for research, writing and translation. • Organized, reliable and results oriented, with attention to detail when logging activities and following up. • Willingness to learn about payments, fintech and cross border commerce in a fast paced scale up environment. • Experience or interest in payments, fintech, SaaS or cross border e commerce. • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo or LinkedIn Sales Navigator. • Experience prospecting through WeChat and other Chinese business channels. • Bachelor's degree (or final year student) in Business, Marketing, International Trade or a related field.
