📋 Description

• Work with a globally distributed team based in multiple countries • Design, build, and improve Yelp Host features that help businesses connect with customers via voice AI at large scale • Work on call intelligence projects using LLMs to analyze phone calls and deliver insights to restaurants • Participate in daily standups and collaborative meetings with PMs, senior engineers, and designers • Work closely with experienced engineers for mentorship and hands-on learning • Consider user experience and share continuous improvement ideas • Write clean, maintainable code in Python, JavaScript, and React • Leverage AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, and Codex where necessary to enhance productivity

🎯 Requirements

• All spoken and written communication for the role conducted in English • Educational and/or work experience, or interest, in full stack development with backend and frontend frameworks • Familiarity with modern languages and frameworks such as Python, MySQL, React, and JavaScript • Eagerness to learn applied AI and LLMs and implement practical solutions to real business challenges • Comfortable working in a Unix environment • Collaborative approach and willingness to communicate with technical teams and business stakeholders • Willingness to embrace mentorship, feedback, and new challenges • Passion for learning and building technology with real-world impact
