📋 Description
• Support daily operations for a fleet of refrigerated trucks and trailers. • Combine dispatch coordination with maintenance support. • Ensure equipment stays operational and repairs are handled efficiently. • Communicate with drivers regarding operational updates, breakdowns, and repair progress. • Identify and troubleshoot basic truck and trailer issues. • Coordinate roadside assistance and emergency repairs. • Locate and work with reliable repair shops and maintenance vendors. • Establish and maintain relationships with new repair facilities and service providers. • Track repair progress and follow up until equipment is returned to service. • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and vendor information. • Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. • Support reefer-related troubleshooting to ensure temperature-sensitive freight remains protected.
🎯 Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in trucking operations, dispatch, fleet maintenance coordination, or equipment support. • Experience with refrigerated (reefer) trucks and trailers is strongly preferred. • Basic knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance and repair processes. • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs efficiently. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • Experience working with repair shops, roadside assistance providers, and maintenance vendors. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS), fleet software, and Microsoft Office tools. • English proficiency: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
