📋 Description

• Review MRP recommendations and purchasing exceptions each day. • Convert approved MRP requirements into purchase orders with approved suppliers. • Confirm order quantities, pricing, lead times, and requested delivery dates before placing purchase orders. • Adjust purchase-order quantities and dates when requirements change and approvals are received. • Maintain accurate purchasing, source-list, and planning data in the ERP system. • Identify shortages, excess inventory risks, and urgent material requirements. • Set priorities for the Purchasing Coordinator and provide direction on orders requiring follow-up. • Communicate material risks and purchasing needs to Planning, Manufacturing, and the Purchasing Manager. • Support inventory goals and complete related purchasing assignments as requested.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, operations, supply chain, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred. • At least 3 years of purchasing, planning, or supply chain experience is preferred. • Experience using MRP and ERP systems is required. • Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required. • Experience in dietary supplements, food, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing is preferred. • Working schedule: 8-5pm EST.
