📋 Description

• Design full-course curricula for Middle School English, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans • Develop high-quality instructional materials, including student-facing lessons and text-based activities • Curate and develop diverse, high-quality text sets that reflect multiple perspectives and lived experiences • Ensure alignment to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision and outcomes • Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers to ensure alignment and coherence

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree • At least three years of experience designing and/or teaching high-quality secondary humanities instruction • Proven record of developing rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive curriculum.

• Consultants are responsible for their own taxes; consultants are not eligible for Zeta benefit plans. • Work schedule is flexible; deliverables and deadlines will be agreed upon with the designated project lead.
