📋 Description

• Design and implement scalable data models, storages and pipelines for critical product features • Drive the evolution of our data platform to meet future needs of real-time big data processing • Create and evolve architectural roadmaps for the data platform • Turn product requirements into viable and scalable data architectures and implementations • Act as a bridge between data science, product engineering, and stakeholders • Establish and follow data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices • Mentor senior engineers and architects on complex data modeling and distributed system challenges

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in software and data architectures, with a focus on designing large-scale data lakehouses • Expert level fluency in programming (Python, Go or Java) • Strong working knowledge of SQL, databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift, Iceberg, Athena) • Experience with streaming and event-driven architectures to process high volume data using tools like Spark • Strong understanding of data modeling and modern data architectures like data lakehouses • Experience with AI/ML is nice to have • Proven ability to balance immediate delivery with long-term architectural integrity while managing technical debt • Strong verbal and written communication skills • 6+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
