📋 Description

• Record and manage general ledger transactions related to software capitalization, payroll, prepaid, debt, insurance, amortization, allocations, intercompany transactions, and other areas • Record and manage operating expense general ledger transactions across business units • Ensure intercompany transactions are appropriate • Research general ledger transactions in subledgers and with other teams • Own specific accounts and daily operational tasks, including allocations and benefits • Prepare roll-forward account analyses, income statement account analyses, and account reconciliations • Assist with financial statement support and public SEC filings • Maintain thorough and accurate files and documentation • Respond to accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting financial data • Complete external audit requests by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing auditor information • Perform special projects and analysis as requested • Protect confidential financial and operational information • Report to the Corporate Senior Accounting Manager and collaborate across finance teams including financial planning, financial reporting, internal audit, tax, treasury, payroll, and company divisions • Contribute to accounting process transformation and automation initiatives

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting • CPA, or equivalent • 5-7 years related experience within a publicly held global, complex company • Public accounting experience a plus • Experience within a digital media company or related field a plus • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication • Pride in accuracy and attention to detail • Experience with leading ERPs; Oracle Fusion a plus • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications, especially Excel • Exposure and experience in Sarbanes Oxley a plus • Experience with Power BI and advanced Excel skills a plus • Motivated to improve processes by identifying efficiencies with and without the use of AI • Must be able to work in the United States East Coast time zone
