📋 Description

• Manage a portfolio of civil and consumer-law litigation matters in partnership with external counsel • Monitor cases with agencies such as PROCON and consumidor.gov • Handle less complex commercial contracts from start to finish • Support Product, Operations, and People teams in resolving recurring legal questions • Build controls, track metrics, and identify process gaps • Propose improvements to make legal routines more organized, efficient, and scalable • Use AI and automation to reduce manual work and scale operations • Gradually expand coverage to employment law, compliance, privacy, and automation projects

🎯 Requirements

• Active Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) license, or in the final stage of obtaining one (e.g., having passed the exam and awaiting issuance of the registration number) • Experience in civil litigation, including preparing case materials and legal filings, monitoring procedural deadlines, and organizing documentation • Experience reviewing contracts, including service agreements, NDAs, amendments, and supplier agreements • Operational autonomy to resolve issues and proactively flag blockers • Strong execution skills and an interest in a predominantly hands-on scope • Curiosity and initiative to use AI and automation in legal workflows and routines • Familiarity with legal tools such as Elaw, DocuSign/ZapSign, and Notion, or the ability to learn them quickly • Preferred qualifications: exposure to employment law/People matters, compliance, KYC/AML, Brazil's LGPD, regulated companies, in-house legal advisory, and Bacen/CVM/FIDC regulatory matters
