📋 Description

• responsible for processing incoming payments and correcting payment issues with banks and insurance carriers • effective at communicating with Banks, Clients, Attorneys and Patients to resolve depositing issues

🎯 Requirements

• processing incoming payments from insurance carriers • sorting daily incoming mail and processing to appropriate lockboxes • calling insurance carriers to verify if checks are cashed and if not asking to have reissued • familiar with bank processes, such as non-sufficient funds and international checks is a plus • ability to work within deadlines and in high volume conditions • ability to multi-task and deal with change constructively • excellent verbal and written communication skills required • pleasant phone manner when communicating with outside resources and patients • medical billing office and payment posting knowledge is preferred • proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat products • proficient in maneuvering in Insurance Carrier websites
