📋 Description

• Own the strategy, roadmap, budget, and vendor landscape for internal IT. • Lead, grow, and develop the IT Support and IT Tooling & Automation teams. • Run IT as an employee-facing product, measuring service levels and prioritizing by business leverage. • Administer, integrate, rationalize, and document business-critical SaaS applications. • Design API-driven workflows and data synchronization across platforms. • Own vendor selection, consolidation, licensing, renewals, and cost-versus-value decisions. • Champion code-first automation using scripts, internal services, event-driven pipelines, CLI tools, and ChatOps. • Build and evolve automated onboarding, offboarding, identity provisioning, and IT self-service. • Set the technical bar for the IT Tooling & Automation pod, review designs, and contribute hands-on. • Own the internal AI tool portfolio, including evaluation, procurement, administration, governance, cost control, and lifecycle management. • Deliver AI-powered support assistants, knowledge retrieval, ticket triage and resolution, and agentic operational automation. • Partner with AI Enablement and AI champions to drive adoption. • Define AI data-handling, model, and vendor guardrails with Security and Legal. • Measure AI adoption, usage, costs, and productivity impact. • Deliver person-first IT support for a global remote workforce and perform root-cause analysis. • Own SSO/SAML/SCIM, identity lifecycle automation, MDM, password management, and access audits under Zero Trust principles. • Partner with Information Security on ISO 27001 compliance and audit readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in IT engineering, business systems engineering, or internal platform engineering at SaaS/tech companies. • 3+ years leading a team owning internal business systems and automation. • Hands-on ability to read, review, and write automation code in Python or a comparable language. • Fluency with APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and integration frameworks. • Proven ownership of a modern SaaS business application landscape, including cross-system integration and data synchronization at company scale. • Demonstrated delivery of AI tooling, including LLM assistants, knowledge retrieval, AI-assisted support, or agentic workflow automation. • Experience with AI account administration, seat and usage governance, cost control, and guardrails. • Deep experience with SSO/SAML/SCIM, identity lifecycle automation, MDM, and Zero Trust access models. • Experience supporting or passing ISO 27001, SOC2, or GDPR security and compliance audits. • Vendor and budget management experience across a substantial SaaS portfolio. • Experience serving a remote-first, globally distributed workforce with a person-first service philosophy. • Excellent communication in English across technical and non-technical audiences up to executive level. • Nice-to-have: agentic platforms and protocols, Claude/Gemini Enterprise/OpenAI/Copilot ecosystems, FinOps-style AI and cloud spend governance, SRE practices, and tool consolidation after growth or M&A.
