Beschreibung

• Implement new features for Gambio shop software based on the product roadmap, from concept to release • Contribute ideas for further product development • Extend the REST API, event system, and integrations with payment providers, marketplaces, shipping services, and ERP systems • Find and fix bugs in coordination with the support team • Write automated tests • Review colleagues' code • Work in an agile team with product owners and QA • Depending on experience, make technical decisions and help shape shop software architecture • Take ownership of the REST API, event system, and integrations • Plan and implement step-by-step modernization of existing code • Support less experienced developers through code reviews and pair programming

🎯 Anforderungen

• Professional experience in PHP development • Confident with PHP 8 and object-oriented programming • Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB, Git, and Composer • Experience with REST APIs and standards such as OAuth • Experience with automated tests such as PHPUnit • Experience with CI pipelines • Knowledge of Docker • Openness to using AI tools in daily work • Experience with shop software such as Gambio, Shopware, Magento, or WooCommerce is a plus • Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in a distributed team • Fluent English • Practical experience is valued more than degrees or certificates • Several years of experience and technical responsibility for larger projects is a plus • Experience making and explaining architecture decisions is a plus • Experience modernizing legacy code without disrupting production is a plus • Willingness to share knowledge is a plus • Must live and work in Germany
