Beschreibung

• Identify, screen, interview, and hire qualified experienced CDL drivers • Review the 10thStreet ATS online database and referrals to source potential CDL drivers • Contact candidates by phone, email, and other communication methods • Provide information, build rapport, and influence potential drivers to drive for Stevens Transport Inc • Review DOT, state, local, and company requirements to assess qualifications, experience, and CDL compliance • Conduct in-depth phone interviews evaluating driving skills, work history, and company-standard alignment • Verify driving records, criminal records, and employment history • Maintain accurate candidate documentation and information • Administer relevant tests or assessments • Collaborate with hiring managers to select candidates for available CDL driver positions • Extend job offers and negotiate compensation packages as needed • Assist with onboarding, orientation, training, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations • Schedule and confirm new hires for orientation and training • Generate recruitment reports and metrics • Manage candidate data using recruitment software and databases • Build and maintain relationships with current and potential CDL drivers • Attend industry events, job fairs, and networking opportunities • Maintain communication with applicants throughout the recruiting lifecycle, including application status, additional information, questionable results, and approval or denial

🎯 Anforderungen

• High school diploma or equivalent • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment software, and related tools • Strong computer and typing skills in a Windows environment, including Outlook, Excel, and Word • Ability to handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls and email • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and competing deadlines • Ability to provide valuable and timely customer service to candidates, hiring managers and senior level management • Ability to take initiative • Capable of thriving as a team player but also driven by autonomy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong knowledge of CDL requirements, FMCSA regulations, and industry standards • Previous experience in recruitment, particularly in CDL driver recruitment or a related role within the transportation or logistics industry • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities • A commitment to safety and compliance • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate candidate documentation • Exceptional communication - strong oral, written, interpersonal skills, and active listening skills • Experience with TenStreet ATS Application • Recruiting, customer service and/or sales experience • 3-5 years of hiring Experienced Drivers with a minimum of 2 years of experience with all types of equipment specifically Food Grade Tanker and Reefer • Ability to talk and hear • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
