📋 Description

• Provide text-based online emotional wellbeing and mental health support and advice to children and young people in line with the iThrive clinical model • Assess and manage the risks and needs of each service user • Signpost appropriately and complete referrals as required • Undertake comprehensive assessment and formulation of children and young people’s wants and needs • Provide short- and mid-term support and interventions for physical, emotional and mental health issues and distress • Provide caseload support and interventions for people with complex mental health difficulties and/or risk support • Perform duties in line with compliance, legal requirements, internal policies, safeguarding and data protection legislation • Maintain accurate case notes and records using Kooth-approved systems and processes • Liaise with internal and external professionals/services regarding safeguarding issues and concerns • Maintain accurate shift-duty and activity information via the scheduling and rota system • Attend and contribute to clinical supervision, clinical support, training, team meetings and organisational meetings • Attend management supervision to review clinical work and performance against agreed KPIs

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in a relevant subject such as social care, mental health nursing, counselling, social work, psychology or equivalent professional qualification; or qualified by experience in previous work roles with significant demonstrable professional training in Mental Health support and engaging people around emotional well-being or mental health difficulties • Working knowledge and understanding of safeguarding adult and child protection policies and legislation • Ongoing specialist training in Mental Health (desirable) • Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Mitigation Training (desirable) • Safeguarding and risk management interventions training (desirable) • Training in Adult Safeguarding & Child Protection (desirable) • Availability for rota-based hours, including weekend working • Ability to work shifts of between 5 and up to 8 hours • Enhanced DBS screening prior to appointment
