📋 Description

• Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day employee and manager HR queries • Coordinate the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through probation, development and offboarding • Manage recruitment activity through Workable, including hiring approval, adverts, candidate communication and interview coordination • Become a super user of HiBob, maintain accurate people data and improve system usage • Prepare contracts, letters and other employee documentation • Advise managers on routine people matters, including probation, absence, performance, family leave and flexible working • Handle employee relations processes and escalate complex matters appropriately • Coordinate HR changes with Finance for monthly payroll • Administer and communicate employee benefits • Help deliver wellbeing and engagement initiatives • Produce HR reports and people metrics • Support performance reviews, manager development and other People projects • Improve HR processes through automation and AI • Work directly with the Director of HR & Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Around 2–3 years' experience in HR, People Operations or a similar role • Good understanding of the employee lifecycle and UK HR practices • Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and general HR administration • Experience providing HR guidance to employees or managers • Experience using an HRIS; HiBob would be a real advantage • Experience using an ATS such as Workable would be beneficial • Excellent organisation and attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Confidence using systems and technology • Judgement to know when to handle something independently and when to ask for support • CIPD qualification (Level 3 or 5), or progress towards one, would be an advantage • Friendly, curious, organised, trustworthy and empathetic
