📋 Description

• Oversee all functions within the Patient Revenue department • Serve as a member of the team and subscribe to Duke University Health System's vision, values, and expectations • Provide direction for the division • Promote a patient-centric and customer service focus • Develop the division operating budget and goals • Manage the division's financial, service, and productivity performance • Monitor, analyze, and manage reports and related documents • Ensure integration with other departmental areas • Develop operational policies, procedures, standards, and expectations • Provide opportunities to meet or exceed balanced scorecard objectives • Conduct performance reviews of direct reports • Develop and mentor direct reports and staff • Participate in community and agency events • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • 5 years of experience in business or other applicable experience • A master's degree in a related field, such as business or health administration, may be substituted for experience on a 1:1 basis • Certifications in patient access or patient accounting preferred • Ability to provide direction for the division • Ability to promote and emulate a patient-centric and customer service focus • Ability to develop operating budgets and goals • Ability to manage financial, service, and productivity performance • Ability to monitor, analyze, and manage reports and related documents • Ability to develop operational policies, procedures, standards, and expectations • Ability to conduct performance reviews and develop and mentor staff
