📋 Description

• Assist with configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades of Fortinet, Cisco, and Palo Alto next-generation firewall devices • Support customer-facing networks and assist senior engineers with network expansion, hardware refresh, and connectivity solutions • Implement system and network configurations according to corporate security policies and best practices • Support SD-WAN, MPLS, wired and wireless Layer 2/Layer 3 connectivity, firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers • Manage Cradlepoint wireless edge devices through Ericsson NetCloud Manager, including onboarding, provisioning, configuration groups, firmware upgrades, and licensing tracking • Provide break/fix support and change management for Cradlepoint deployments, including LTE/5G troubleshooting, RMAs, and configuration changes • Provide multilayer technical support to customers through Network Operations Center services • Review and resolve potentially service-impacting anomalies and escalate when necessary • Escalate complex customer issues while maintaining ownership through resolution • Liaise with customers, vendors, and third-party providers to troubleshoot issues • Track issues in the ticketing system and provide timely customer updates • Obtain and maintain technical certifications • Follow company ethics, values, data-handling procedures, privacy practices, policies, and compliance requirements • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or University degree in a related field, or equivalent 5+ years of related work experience • Hands-on network troubleshooting using OSI model analysis, debug commands, packet captures, routing, and path analysis • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco ASA/Firepower, Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center, Fortinet FortiGate, Fortinet Access Points, and Fortinet Switches • Experience with Cisco routers and switches; Cisco Nexus exposure preferred • Familiarity with Juniper EX/QFX switches, routers, and SRX firewalls • Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama • Experience supporting and troubleshooting SD-WAN, including FortiGate SD-WAN • Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cradlepoint routers and wireless WAN via Ericsson NetCloud Manager, including LTE/5G connectivity • Working knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting experience with BGP and OSPF; IS-IS exposure is a plus • Load balancer familiarity; F5 LTM/GTM experience preferred • VMware NSX-V and NSX-T exposure is a plus • Working knowledge of MPLS concepts and troubleshooting • Strong Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting experience • AWS networking services exposure is a plus, including VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect, Security Groups, and NACLs • Cloudflare services exposure is a plus, including DNS, CDN, WAF, DDoS protection, Zero Trust/Access, and Tunnel • Strong customer service skills and ability to explain technical issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ownership of incidents through resolution in a 24/7 operations environment • Ability to collaborate across shifts and time zones and share knowledge with peers • Learning agility and adaptability • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, or Cradlepoint certifications preferred but not required • Must be legally eligible to work in the assigned country without visa sponsorship • Ability to work extended periods using a computer, keyboard, mouse, office software, and communication tools • Ability to participate in frequent virtual meetings and communicate clearly in writing and verbally • Availability for occasional evening, night, weekend, or holiday work
